Educationist Dankadhar Pradhan Passed away. Talcher (Dt-17/02/2025)- Educationist Dankadhar Pradhan (79 years) of Nathgaon under Kalamachhuin G.P of Talcher Block passed away on Saturday at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. He had been bedridden for some time due to old age-related diseases. His four sons Dibyalochan, Biswalochan, Kamal Lochan and Rajib Lochan, along with his daughter-in-law and relatives were present at his deathbed. He had been a teacher for 41 years. He retired as the Head Master of Padmavatipur Higher Primary School, Kshemei Higher Primary School. He was known in the surrounding area as a simple, religious and charitable person. He was also working as a senior advisor at Maa Hingula Library, a leading voluntary organization in Talcher. A condolence meeting was held under the chairmanship of the president of the library, Mr. Hadibandhu Pradhan. The Secretary of the library, Social worker Bibhuti Bhusan Swain, Treasurer Dayanidhi Sahoo, Ajit Pradhan, Panchanan Behera were present and garlanded the photograph of the late Shri Pradhan and prayed for the peace of his soul by offering two minutes of silent prayer. His demise has cast a shadow of grief in the local area.
